Missions and responsibilities
For our Design Office in Ferrières-en-Brie, we are looking for: a Design Engineer (M/F). Working with the Design Office draftsmen or designers, you will design the ideal steel structure to meet the customer’s specifications. As part of this, you will check the stability of the scaffolding by means of calculations, and certify stability by writing up a calculation note.
Job-related skills
- Master the fundamentals of resistance to materials (RTM).
- Proficiency in numerical calculation software such as SCIA or ROBOT
- Write calculation notes.
- Familiarity with Eurocode standards and certain regulations.
- Study, design and monitor all scaffolding projects.
Profile required
As a structural engineer, you have a good sense of mechanics and are rigorous and responsive. You’re interested in complex projects, and enjoy putting your technical skills to use in the service of customer satisfaction. A degree in mechanical or construction engineering (structural steelwork, public works, civil engineering) and successful initial experience in structural steelwork are essential for this position. A valid driving license is required for occasional travel in the region.

- A 13-month fixed salary
